Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center

Neurosurgeons Drs. Yaron Moshel and Brian Beyerl, and radiation oncologists Drs. Joana Emmolo and Louis Schwartz from the renowned Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center

Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists – a proud partner of Altair Health – and the Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center bring the most comprehensive and innovative treatments to benign and malignant tumors of the brain, skull base, spine and spinal cord. Located at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, our neurosurgeons perform more brain tumor surgeries than at any other hospital in the state. Overlook’s CyberKnife program treating brain tumors is the largest of its kind in the tristate region.

Altair neurosurgeon Yaron Moshel, MD, PhD directs the Glasser Brain Tumor Center. You have access to every expert you need … from dedicated brain tumor surgeons and skull-base surgeons to neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, neurologists, neuro-radiologists, neuro-pathologists, medical oncologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, physiatrists, social workers and more. To further ensure you get the best outcome, our multidisciplinary tumor board reviews and provides opinions on your treatment plan.

The Gerald J Glasser Brain Tumor Center has organized clinical programs in skull base surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, neuro-oncology, and minimally invasive endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgery. We are advancing the treatment of brain tumors by actively participating in national, multicenter clinical trials and furthering state-of-the-art treatments like stereotactic radiosurgery. Altair Neurosurgeon Dr. Brian Beyerl co-directs the Atlantic Health Stereotactic Radiosurgery Program, the first of its kind in New Jersey which treats more patients that any other in the state.

We treats a broad range of brain tumors from acoustic neuroma and chiari malformation … to glioblastoma multiforme, gliomas, hydrocephalus, meningiomas, metastatic brain tumors, oligodendroglioma and oligoastrocytomas, pineal tumors, pituitary tumors, skull-based tumors and more.

We ensure you don’t have unnecessary surgery, and if you need surgery – and it’s possible – we use cutting-edge minimally invasive treatment strategies and advanced techniques.

We are nationally recognized as leaders in brain tumor treatment innovation – which is why developers of cutting-edge solutions pursue us to participate in clinical trials. We support trials we believe can be life-changing for our patients and patients worldwide.
