The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center

Being diagnosed with a brain tumor is an emotional, unnerving experience. Yet, one of the most important things you or your loved ones can do is explore expert alternate approaches to care.

Each year, more than 1,000 families turn to the Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center for the treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the brain, skull base, spine and spinal cord. The institute has been ranked No. 1 for neurosurgery in NY, NJ, CT and PA – and among the top 5% of the nation’s neuroscience programs – five years in a row.

Our Brain Tumor Board is frequently consulted for second opinions that highlight new cutting-edge treatment options and evidence-based care plans for even the rarest types of tumors.

Comprised of neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, a neuro-radiologist, a neuropathologist, medical oncologists, a brain tumor nurse and a clinical trial nurse, our multidisciplinary experts holistically evaluate each individual case and craft treatment recommendations designed to provide the best possible outcomes. In line with our patient commitment, we guide each patient in the journey from diagnosis through treatment.
