Our Specialties
The Altair Health Neurovascular Center specializes in the most innovative treatments for stroke and aneurysm and other neurovascular problems. This is just one reason why most area physicians refer their patients to us.
We spearhead the ongoing research that brings advances and continuous improvement to this highly specialized practice of medicine. We specialize in the rapidly evolving field of endovascular neurosurgery, the minimally invasive treatment of neurovascular diseases that uses cutting-edge medical technology.
Our Stroke Centers are the busiest in the state and have treated hundreds of patients suffering from ischemic, hemorrhagic, Transient ischemic attack (TIA) and other vascular conditions.

What more can be done?
The Critical Question that can save a stroke victim. Using a stent retriever, we can now go into the brain within 8 to 10 hours of the stroke – in some instances, even longer – remove the clot and restore blood flow to the brain. The Altair Health Neurovascular Center has been a pioneer of interventional stroke treatment and recent studies have confirmed what Altair neurosurgeons have known for years: that this type of treatment reduces post-stroke disability and increases the proportion of patients independent at three months.
Stroke – it can happen to anyone.
Like Jamie Falstrault, the 43-year-old who suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed the entire left side of his body. He calls Altair Health’s Dr. Ronald Benitez and yoga his life-saving combination.
And Lindsey Singh. At the young age of 31, she narrowly escaped suffering a second stroke. Quick medical response gave Lindsey her life back. “I wouldn’t be here today for my children if it wasn’t for Dr. Saphier.”
These are just a couple of the patients who are back to living their best lives – thanks to the Altair Health Neurovascular team.
