Part of the nationally recognized Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor team, Dr. John Paul Bouffard is a highly skilled neuropathologist specializing in the diagnosis of brain and nervous system diseases. Before joining Altair Health, he served as the neuropathologist for Atlantic Health System – home to seven award-winning hospitals – for 14 years.
Dr. Bouffard trained in neuropathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and served as the Institute’s Director of Neuromuscular Pathology. He did his undergraduate work at Washington & Lee University and received his MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Dr. Bouffard is a military veteran, serving on active duty and in the Air Force Reserve from 1986 to 2010.
Dr. Emmolo is multi-lingual, speaking Spanish and Italian.
