Claire Weiss, AGACNP
NURSE PRACTITIONER
Bio
Claire Weiss is a nurse practitioner and the clinical nurse manager at Altair Health. In this role, she is responsible for all pre- and post-operative neurosurgical care for brain and spine patients – including hands-on care, patient and family education – as well as coordination among patients, physicians and facilities. She also assists surgeons with various in-office clinical procedures.
Additionally, Claire is the coordinator of the Altair Health Center for Hope Foundation. She is responsible for planning, moderating and managing the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a monthly Brain Tumor Support Group and other resources for patients and caregivers who have been affected by brain tumors.
Claire has presented neuroscience research at The Annual Neuroscience Conference and co-authored two neuroscience journal publications. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience from King’s College and her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing degree from the County College of Morris.
