Bio

John Hancock is an acute care nurse practitioner who cares for patients with brain, complex spine, trauma and cerebrovascular neurosurgical conditions. He assists in the operating room and works with patients to develop their care plans.

Prior to joining Altair Health, John served as a registered nurse and unit educator in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical ICU at Morristown Medical Center. He also worked at JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in the ICU, Neuro ICU, Intensive Mobile Care Unit and ICU Step Down Units.

A member of the military, John received his Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Drexel University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Kaplan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He has participated in numerous medical presentations and has been involved in several research programs including serving as co-investigator for the MIND trial treating hemorrhagic strokes.
