Bio

Beth Karasin is a surgical nurse specialist with over 10 years of peri-operative experience. She completed undergraduate nursing education at the College of Saint Elizabeth and was trained as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Drexel University. Mrs. Karasin is also a Registered Nurse First Assistant and holds certification in peri-operative nursing and CITI Program – Clinical Research Coordinator. She lead multiple presentations relating to patient care, was featured in a variety of articles including Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, contributed to PICC line research, published in The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety and is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Association of peri-Operative Registered Nurses and American Epilepsy Society.
